How it works:

Step 1 - Backup your data

The Backedup247 service enables you to automatically backup all your valuable data every day of the year.

Once the backup software has been installed and configured the service will securely transmit your data to our data centre at the time specified. Once this initial backup has been carried out only the changes in to the files and data is transmitted. This keeps the amount of data transmitted to a minimum ensuring that your data is backed up as quickly as possible.

After every backup you will receive a detailed report of what was backed up by email. You will also receive an email if your backup is missed or there are problems with your backup.

Step 2 - Restore your data

Once backed up your data can be restored to the original computer or to any other computer in the world using our secure web page. For added security the restore process can be restricted to only allow data to be restored via the secure webpage if carried out from certain IP addresses.

Is it secure?

Data Security Systems

Security is something we take very seriously. Your data is encrypted using the key you entered when you installed the software and a 128bit SSL Certificate. Combined this ensures world class security for your data.  Your encryption key is never transmitted to the data centre and all the data stored on our servers is meaningless without the key. Physical Data Security

Our primary data centre is an impenetrable fortress located outside the M25, 30 meters below ground, protected by 3 meter thick concrete walls and solid steel blast doors. The site is a state-of-the-art nuclear bunker designed to protect command and control systems in the event of a nuclear war. For more information on our physical data security click here.
